Käytävien ja syvennysten louhinta hiilikaivoksessa. DYNACEM was used in coal extraction in the Zabrze Coal Mine. Galleries, manways and breasts (rooms) in the coal bed were driven manually to avoid vibrations and shocks. Big lumps of coal were delaminated, crumbled and broken using holes filled with DYNACEM expansive mortar. After being manually removed from the face, the excavated material was passed onto a conveyor belt. Natural character of the historic mine galleries belonging to the Coal Mining Museum was reproduced. Choosing DYNACEM allowed for a reduction in mechanical hammering time and accelerated the work severalfold.
