Splitting stone - granite boulder using expansive, chemical, rock and concrete cracking, non-explosive demolition agent Dynacem®. Rock temperature 18 °C, hole diameter 26 mm, hole spacing 17 cm. A day after the holes had been filled a linear, single crack emerged along the line of holes, despite the fact that natural stone stratification was inclined to the line of holes (as seen on the first photo). During the following days the crack was getting wider and reached ~25 mm after a week.
