Fragmentation of the rock boulder hanging on the slope to prevent it to fall as a whole, into a nearby swimming pool. Rock boulder (+/- 2.5m * 1m * 1m) has been found hanging on a above slope, 3 m away from the swimming pool. Since the underground and the slope are unstable (mining activities of the ‘60’s), the customer decided to break or to split the rock on the slope into smaller pieces (before it slides down autogenously) to prevent it against falling down as a one, heavy piece, because the swimming pool is too close. Dynacem has been used succesfully to break the rock into smaller pieces, which have been then slided down, and removed by small excavator.
