Non-explosive demolition agent Dynacem has been used for breaking of thick, internal, concrete lining inside reinforced concrete water tank at water purification plant. The layer of concrete has been cracked and fragmented into easily maneuverable pieces with the holes arranged in square drill pattern. The holes were drilled inclined to the surface to make them deeper. The cracked chunks were removed from the tank easily. Dynacem allowed to remove concrete lining without heavy hammering, vibrations and shockwaves induced by hydraulic hammer, and thus to avoid potential risk of developing cracks and leaks in fragile structure of a water tank.
